This weeks blog post will be a little different from what you’re used to seeing here.  On this, the fourteenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America, I’d like highlight some of the stories from the photographers who put themselves in harm’s way to bring us so many of the impactful images from that tragic day.   These stories help put into perspective the importance and dangers of the photojournalist when a crisis occurs.  There are four stories highlighted that give chilling accounts of each photojournalists experience while documenting that day.  The link to the first story is below and the links to the other three stories can be found at the bottom of the Part 1.  While you read the stories, try to put yourself in their shoes and imagine what you would’ve been thinking or feeling as you push your way through the crowds trying to run away while you run towards the flames.  As always, thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you next week.
